It’s mind blowing that even farmers are now leaving their piece of land behind to walk across the brutal desert to earn cash in Saudi Arabia. This is a painful and shameful story to read. While politicians and activists are inciting hatred among people, the harrowing realities of poverty is driving millions out of the country. It makes me sad that despite our rich natural resources and promising future of a democratic nation, thousands of people are risking their lives everyday to cross the border to be enslaved by Arabs.
