The key for Tigray is to unite the divided three ethnics of Kunama, Saho and Afar. Unity of Kunama will bring Tigray lands of Tessene, Omni Hajer and Gash Setit. The unity of Saho is as we know it and unity of Afar is our Bahri Tigray.

There is no such thing as Bahri Tigray because our good for nothing primitive Abyssinian ancestors were more interested in goat herding than settling people in the coastal areas, Today, Amhara and Benishangul Gumuz nilotic tribes are on the same level, sad but true.

Afar are the Kings and Queens of the Red Sea and the owners of the Dahlak Archipelago.

Anyway, Eritrea's declaration of independence has brought nothing but misery, hunger, terror, tears and forced displacement for Afar people in Eritrea, It's 27 years since Eritrea gained its independence from Ethiopia, Things have gone from bad to worse over the last three decades, Eritrea today is in worst shape than it was during the Haile Selassie or Mengistu Haile Mariam era but I have no doubt one day that open-air prison country will crawl back into the arms of the most miserable, poorest and politically unstable country, Ethiopia.
