The people of Tigray deserve peace in their land and within Ethiopia. The problem remains the fact that Tigray has, naturally, limited options, because Tigray is a victim of its geography. This means, Tigrayans can not live outside of Ethiopia, nor without Ethiopia. On the other hand, Ethiopia and Ethiopians can live without Tigray. Lets see, how many Ethiopians want to live and work in Tigray? How many Tigrayans would like to move, live and work in Ethiopia? Most Tigrayans would move to Ethiopia, or those who live would choose to remain in Ethiopia. That, simply, answers my question.
Therefore; what are the options of Tigray. The answer is, Tigray has no option, except to live within Ethiopia with the understanding that Tigrayans are only 5% of the population of Ethiopia and producing less that 5% of the Ethiopian economic GDP.
No matter how many battles Tigrayans fight, there is little to gain, only to lose more in many ways.
The core problem of Tigray lies in the mentality of Tigrayan elites and the TPLF ideology. The first step to Tigrayan liberation is for Tigrayans to ditch its TPLF leaders and do away all the TPLF precondition and finally making peace with Ethiopia, and possibly with Eritrea.
