You kept silent for a week or so! Because you saw the latest Communique of the G7 endorsing Somalia's sovereignty and territorial, I guess.

Going to war with Somalia is not a solution to the political crisis in Ethiopia. Those who see war as the only unifying factor for their ethnically divided country teetering on the brink of collapse will fall on their own sword.
Somalia may be fragmented and controlled by warring clans through no fault of its own, but it is still an internationally recognized sovereign nation with supreme authority over all its territories, which include Somaliland and Puntland.
The people of Somalia speak the same language, have one religion, and share the same culture. Therefore, it is much easier for Somalia to be made whole again than for the ethnically Balkanized bully next door that is threatening its existence.

Fiyameta,
The good thing is that you have considerably reduced your level of confidence in the demise of the MOU. My guess is that there is a signed undisclosed agreement between the two countries. I say this because ...
(1) the heads of states of the two countries have met;
(2) the heads of military of the two nations have met;
(3) the heads of economies of the two nations have met;
(4) the heads of police of the two countries have met;
(5) the countries have formed technical and legal teams to operationalize the military base and ports deals
(6) now Ethiopia is issuing a new map of independent Somaliland.
