The war in satans welega started in 2018 around December so basically 6 months after Abiy came to power the main target in the area was Amhara farmers from Wello. Abiy betrayed Amhara time and time again starting with the assasination of asaminew. Abiy believed he could marginalize and silence Amhara like TPLF did and Amharas realized that he was playing convince and confuse.

Oromo are to blame for the rise of fano. Any time I go on facebook twitter YouTube since the past 6 years Oromo sinfegnas especially those from welega kept calling Amharas neftegnas and many swear words even when Amharas did nothing to Oromos. Oromos were trying to genocide unarmed Amhara since 2018 through jawar and OLF . As well Oromo extremist kept mentioning Menelik non stop. The fano movement grew because of Oromo rhetoric. Abiy is a Oromo fanatic as well hiding behind ethiopianism.
