Isaias's Shabia played very well it's Tigrayan card with TPLF during its difficulty time. Shabia was established in 1970 and TPLF was established in 1975. Shabia gave some technical support and some armament for TPLF initially. During the 1970's , TPLF was working with both Shabia and Jebha but later it sided with Shabia and both defeated Jebha and ended it's life. However, it was TPLF that played the determinant role in eliminating Jebha. In 1979/80 TPLF gave a critical support to Shabia to defend itself from Derg "Key Kokeb Zemecha" . After the joint defence and the defeat of Derg their relationship was deteriorated and terminated in 1985.However, seeing TPLF was becoming a very strong force, Isaias reestablished a tactical cooperation with TPLF in 1988 which lasted until Derg was defeated in 1991. 1998 Isaias ignited the badme war but he was defeated after the two years bloody war that was ended in 2000. In 2020 Isaias joined Abiy and Amhara forces to eliminate TPLF and subdue and disintegrate Tigray .However, after two years genocidal war , Isaias goal of eliminating TPLF was foiled by God and the bravery of Tigrayans . Currently TPLF is re-establishing it's tactical alliance with the Ethiopian government, whereas Isaias relationship with Abiy has been deteriorated and Isaias is concerned that Abiy and TPLF shall jointly topple him from power. As the result Isaias is reapproaching both TPLF and Abiy for reconcilation to save himself from their joint attack.

The opportunists parasite Shabia and Isayas Afewerqe actually joined the Jebha in the 1960s and shabia was part of Jebha.

Hence Shabia was 15 years older than TPLF which was born in 1975 .

The TPLF leaders asked EPLF to send them weapons in 1975 but it took Shabia several months to send them outdated 17 ak 47 and rifles and most of it didn't work.

The Coward Shabia or Jebha couldn't liberate one Town from hailesellasie -Ethiopian army which was only few thousand in eritrea until 1974.

The Tigray People and TPLF had equal power with Jebha and Shabia in their first year 1976 in organized fighters, despite they still had less guns.

Tigray People as usual thank you for the indepth illustration of the history of TPLF and it's unmatched contribution on the Eritrean independence struggle as well us the removal of Derg from power. I agree with you Shabia was a splinter group from Jebha which was established by Egypt and the other Arabs 15 years ahead of TPLF. Ascaries we're all the time afraid of the Tigrayans and unwilling to give them any meaningful support. Actually TPLF was initially armed by modern weapons it took from the EDU ( Ethiopian Democratic Party) which was supported at that time by the Americans .


Abere it is unfortunate to see you reducing yourself to such low level & rejoicing on the genocide committed on Tigray people. Tigrayans and Amharas have lived together for generations in peace and you have been trying to undermine that because you are blinded by hunger to power and falsely blaming your problems on TPLF and Tigrayans. By the same logic you applied to Eritrea province, you also forgot that Tigray province is coward as well. Woyane rats have been riding them like mule. If there are 100 opportunist in in 2 millions of minority Tigre these size of these opportunities in Amhara which nationally around 60 million is 30X larger than Tigres, say 100 x 30 = 3000.
