Cronyism is still rampant in the ruling party's practices, says a witness

Post by DefendTheTruth » 04 May 2024, 08:24

Addis Youth are well interwoven in the practice and they can kill their own family members or their own close friends for the benefit they get from their benefactors, said the voice of the woman in the video. We know that such practice was made common place during the early stages of TPLF rule in the country. I myself knew many incompetent yesefer gobez/yesefer aleqa were made functionaries of different levels of the party or government institutions over night after the former rebels grabbed state power with the power of the gun.

It seems old habit die hard still in some circles of the current ruling cliques. I am sure this applies to some individuals we know well today, who out of nowhere started to depart their ways from the government and became harsh critics of the same.

I am not 100% sure in the case of Shimales Abdissa, but if PM Abiy may come across such inept cadres, then he will fire them on the spot!

This is the cost of transition!

We are shocked that this comes as news to you. Is there anything that happened after OPDO replaced TPLF in every nook a Tnd cranny of Addis Ababa except filling up all the positions in Addis Ababa with incompetent OPDO cadres coming from all corners of Oromia? Abiy firing the lord of cronyism opdo on the spot is the funniest thing you have come up with... Amazingly, you are not even sure 100% if the leader of genocide, Obo Shimles, is involved in practices of cronyism. The guy who orders houses to be demolished while children are sleeping, who orders his militias to ethic cleans Amhara children and women, is ethical enough for you not to be a cronyist. As disciples of lies, you are trying to hoodwink us with your foolish on-the-spot mumbo-jumbo . Abiy's gold prize winner mouthpiece is your source to pollute the air of truth.

You are shocked at every juncture of the way, because you are destined to get shocked. What else?

It is rational to condone when good things are done and question when something wrong is done, real or conceived.

In your bunch of inept's camp somebody should simply rise up and start to clap for what ever propaganda is coming your way. How old are you?

Addis has changed beyond recognition, which is fact, and in this case it has been a superb job that the OPDOs filled everything, by throwing away your inept and lazy Gojjames, if what you are saying is anything to go with here.

You have been clapping your lazy hands for the likes of Gedu Andargachew, after the option of using the same cronyism was cut short and he couldn't turn to it anymore and opted to turn himself to a harsh critique of the same government that he was a part the major part of his adult life. This man is your hero today. And here you feel no shame to come back and declare you are shocked. You will stay that way, because your destined for that.

If change requires demolishing any house, let alone the squatter settlement of your unlawful bunch of lazies even those built legally need to be demolished. They are building the country!

Keep talking!

We are shocked that this comes as news to you. This one flew over-your head . Read it again, hope it will percolate second time around,
Throwing away your inept and lazy 'Gojjames' is a manifestation of soon-to-be-clipped-off Oromuma arrogance dripping uncontrollably. We are not talking about competence but tribal cronyism gone amok. Your 'Gojames' derision can drip until it lasts.
Gedu Andargachew was a loser not because of what he did at the end, but at the beginning. Had he demanded proportional power sharing instead of being a cheerleader for conman Abiy before he entrenched, he wouldn't have ended up hearing his own empty echo in parliament. But I give credit to those who grew a spine and stood against the charlatan, however late and however irrelevant, rather than those laughing stock belly dancers performing in Menelik Palace.
