Eritreans Nostalgia for HIM Haile Selassie

Post by Mesob » 30 Oct 2024, 23:16

I spoke to many older generation Eritreans in the Summer of 2023 in Asmara, and most of them agree that they miss growing up, studying and working under His Majesty emperor Haile Selassie in the 1960s and 1970s. I received this response from retired teachers, Imperial naval officers, army and police officers, Ethiopian Airlines workers, bankers, business people, nurses, mechanics, oil tanker drivers,... even students of that era. All spoke with nostalgia to Haile Selassie era on the quality of education and salary they received, the houses they built and the quality of life they had.

Eritrea's current tourism motto should rightly be:
Tiny Eritrea, the land of more than 365 prisons and dungeons

Truth hurts a lot, just compare the two pictures:
This is a proof how Eritreans were fooled by camel herding Arab slaves who hated everything about their Midre-Bahari Habesha identity.
What kind of idiot follows Arab slaves to create a Shiit-hole?

Explain how Arabs fooled Eritreans? Also clarify whether Arab is a code word for Muslims.

Slovakia regrets separating from Czech with humility. Eritreans so arrogant and useless they are blaming Ethiopia for not delivering Singapore.
Clear them out of Ethiopia. Adios and wish them good luck on their journey to hell Eritrea and Egypt with a one way ticket.
Shot them if they attempted to come back.

The arab concubine goba/mesob who desperately tried to convince people that she is from hazega despite she is simply an agame is really something.

There is a saying, charity starts at home. During the reign of Hail selasie, the entire agame and wollo were struck with famine and people died like flies, now how in the earth can your [deleted] convince people that Haile selasie cared about Eritreans than wollo and agame.

Haile selasie was just impressed with the way Eritrea was run in comparison to his shity country called Ethiopia

Was Eritrea's golden era under emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia or under president Issaias Afeworki whose only harvest are the crushing poverty, never ending war, declining economic growth, migration and death in the Arab passage and in the Islamic world, death in the sea, Arabic slavery along the Arab passage and organ harvesting, mediocre sport activity with the entire team of athletes asking refuge in African nations (compare with the Eritrean soccer and cycling teams under Emperor Janhoy - Hamasien, Adulis, Tele, Ambasoira, May Laham and Mendefera), Eritrean music and arts at its best in the 1960s, 1970s ... ?
Hailese Selassie had no more than 20 prisons and police precincts in Eritrea, while Issaias Afeworki has increased this to 271 prisons, dungeons and concentration camps.
Show me the industries and factories built by Issaias Afeworki, here are some of Eritrea's best business enterprises in 1972 under Emperor Haile Selassie.

Was Asmara more civilized in 1972 than now in 2022 under Issaias Afeworki? This is a puzzle many of us, Eritreans, have now?
Just watch the video of the Asmara Expo 1972, and compare it with the docile and clumsy yearly so called "Eritrean Festival" of 2022 ?
